LC parallel tuned circuit resonates at a particular frequency which is determined by the inductor and capacitor value. An LC parallel tuned circuit which resonates at 10KHz is given below. When an ac signal of 10KHz signal is applied to the tuned circuit, a clean ac signal is obtained from the circuit which has 10KHz with no harmonics.

To view the frequency content of the output signal we place a spectrum analyzer at the output.

The following is the graph of frequency spectrum.

We can see that there is no harmonics and that the peak occurs at 10.066KHz.

In contrast to this simulation if we apply ac input signal with some other frequency like 8.6KHz we should get an output signal that has frequency somewhere else.

For this signal input we get an output signal that has centered frequency of 8.989KHz.
