Proteus Tutorials | applied electronics engineering

Proteus Professional is an electronics design software that allows electronics engineer to create and stimulate electronic schematics, perform microcontroller and microprocessor simulation and design PCB.

A distinguishing feature of this EDA software is the interactive realtime microcontroller simulation and debugging. In other words, Proteus allows engineers to program via firmware and check microcontrollers in their design. Different vendor microcontrollers such as PIC, Atmel, Adrino etc can be programmed with firmware and implemented with external circuit.

Furthermore, it has support for virtual instruments such as oscilloscope, interactive real time audio microphone and loudspeaker, import and export feature for sound files among other normal features.
